What more do I need to know about leasing my home other than the price and size?

Did you know you are subject to the Fair Housing Laws? Do you know what they are? Do you know your legal liability about these rules? What about lead paint disclosure and security laws? Being a member of the Greater Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Residential Property Managers keeps us on top of the ever-changing laws and regulations.

At the push of a button the prospect can be on the phone with one of our leasing specialist for further assistance. When you go out who takes the calls on your property? Your answering machine? Your child?

The highest risk time in property management is when the tenant is moving in or out. Avanta Management Group provides professionally prepared leases and forms to protect and insure your rights as a landlord. We make sure that the utilities are transferred properly. Making sure that the move-in goes smoothly and that a proper walk thru is done is part of our standard service.

 What about the security of my property?

NaNSecurity is something we all think about these days, personal as well as property security. Avanta never sends someone to your home; a licensed Realtor will always escort them. We also remove the risk of you meeting someone alone on your property. This may sound foolish, but consider this: You get a call about your property, you are to meet the potential tenant there at 6:00 pm. Now it's 6:30 pm and dark. The prospective tenant show up or at least you think it's the prospective tenant. Actually, you don't really know. Sounds a little risky. It is risky! Avanta Agents are trained to qualify their prospects to minimize the risk and know whom they are dealing with.
